Helping Others Hear Their Dreams for
Over 25 Years

is not a Sertoma club, however we are proud to be affiliated with and partially supported by Sertoma International, the West Pasco Sertoma Club and several other Sertoma clubs throughout the West Central Florida area in addition to our generous independent supporters.    When the West Pasco Sertoma Club was chartered on June 6, 1970 in New Port Richey, Florida they adopted the Sertoma International Organization national focus goals for speech & hearing. They became significantly involved providing funds for equipment, material, supplies and programs for the children and their families.

A collaborative partnership with All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida was established in 1973 to assist the hospital in providing quality speech and hearing services for children including those from Pasco County.

In 1982, the West Pasco Sertoma Club made a decision to establish a foundation to build a speech and hearing clinic for children in Pasco County, Florida and thus The West Pasco Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation, Inc was born, receiving its letter of determination from the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization in December 1982. The Foundation was formed to support the West Pasco Sertoma Speech & Hearing Center. The clinic was opened and dedicated in “Service To Mankind” on May 23, 1983, as a department of All Children's Hospital.

In November 1989, in an effort to broaden the geographic scope of services, the name of the Foundation was changed to the Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation of FL, Inc. (SSHF).

The Sertoma Speech-Language-Hearing Center in Pasco County, supported in part by the Foundation, provides comprehensive treatment for all types of hearing disorders utilizing masters and doctorate level audiologists. All patients are guaranteed the best quality speech and hearing care. Our goal is to provide speech, language and hearing diagnostic and therapy services to the people of West Central Florida, regardless of ability to pay. We believe everyone has the right to effective communication and our staff is dedicated to making sure this happens.

In 2003, we moved our headquarters into an expanded, state of the art facility. The Sertoma Speech-Language-Hearing Center is now located in the All Children's Specialty Care Center of Pasco.
